An Australian-founded missing-persons network

Missing, but never erased.

No family should search alone.

Free, community-language registries so families of the missing can record, search for and remember their loved ones.

Turning names into a permanent record

When someone goes missing, the search leaves scattered traces — a Facebook post, a radio appeal, a message passed between families. But posts sink, broadcasts end, and nothing can be searched years later. We create the one record that lasts: every person named, every case counted, no one forgotten.

Why we exist

Breaking the Silence

Every missing person leaves behind a family searching for answers and a story that deserves to be remembered. Over time, memories, photographs, and important details can become scattered, making the search even more difficult.

Voices of the Missing exists to preserve these stories through a growing network of regional initiatives and a shared humanitarian record, ensuring every name is remembered, every story is protected, and no family searches alone.

Our answer

We provide families with a permanent, trusted place to preserve the stories of their missing loved ones. Every case becomes a searchable public record (available in the family's own language) so relatives, friends, and communities around the world can access and share information, wherever they are.

Through our multilingual humanitarian registries, we help ensure that names, photographs, and stories remain visible, accessible, and never forgotten.

Our principle

We believe every missing person deserves to be remembered with dignity, and every family deserves to be heard with compassion. Our role is to document and preserve the names, stories, photographs, and last known information of missing individuals in a respectful and accurate way. As an independent humanitarian initiative, we are committed to protecting privacy, maintaining trust, and creating a lasting record that ensures no one is forgotten.
